Adding means putting groups together and counting how many you have now.

How it works
- 1Start with the first group. That is your first number.
- 2Push the second group next to it. Now it's one big group.
- 3Count every one in the big group. The last number you say is the answer.
- 4Shortcut: say the first number, then keep counting up once for each one in the second group. 3… then 4, 5. So 3 + 2 = 5.
